Clean room in the Plastics Industry

Challenge:

The client asked us to work a room in terms of ventilation and air conditioning, but in a way that in the future it could be certified as ISO 8 or even ISO 7.

We made a project as if it were an ISO 7 room, but then, for costs containment, some simplifications, that in the future can be corrected, were agreed:

  • the return grids were in the 4 corners of the room, although, at this stage, not going down to floor level;
  • the supply diffusers are "simple", do not have hepa terminal filters, although the UTA fan has already been designed to overcome this additional pressure drop;
  • we do not have the capacity to dehumidify, because we only have one battery in UTA; however, space was left in the duct for subsequent addition of module with second battery and the control already provides for this improvement;
